  1. You have a fabulous collection of photos posted. It all looks like a fairy land. I was just reading a WWII book and in that it talks about the destruction caused by the war. You would not be able to tell it in these pictures.

  2. This looks more like Disneyland than Disneyland! What beauty. Is the Kitty with you? I bet she would love to run around the castle.

  3. This is a fairy tale castle! So wonderful! A bit eerie too with the fog and because it's so empty.

    Beautiful photos!

  4. This is one of your very best series! The castle, of course, is of such interest, but your compositions reflect all its glory. The first shot in the mist just takes my breath away!

    Whee!

    Have a wonderful evening!

  8. My wife had a 3D jigsaw of this place. Alas we never saw it on our European tour as it is inaccesible for the less mobile and we spent time in nearby Fussen instead.

  11. My favorite castle of all times. We visited this castle on a high school trip. I have one old and faded photo from back in the day (1970s, using a very instamatic camera!) I have a beautiful needlepoint that I did as well of the castle. I need to find the perfect spot for it in our new home!

    Thanks for the memories!
