This is such stunning, soaring architecture. And I feel a little hushed when you take us inside. How amazing to see such places, dear Cezar and Leia. I hope you are both so happy there.
Welcome chez moi! This is my home! Imagine my surprise by seeing my good old cathedral! Hope you enjoyed “Strossburi” (Strasbourg, in Alsatian)! Deal: you have been to my place, I have to go to yours now. Which part of Brazil are you from?
It's amazing,I'm sure the pics don't do it justice I hope to visit it in my future. As you know I adore stained glass I'm sure you were thinking of me when you took that pic(LOL) take care talk to you soon….Barb
Fantastic shots! That's somewhere I've been but it was in the 1970s before I got into photography so I didn't take a single picture of it. Yours are great.
All right! I've been there!!! I love that area of France. Did you have a nice lunch/dinner there with some good white wine? I have the same photo of the Cathedral looking down the street but not at a jaunty angle like that, from 1990. I was there again in 2006, but only passing thru. If you ever have a chance, go to Obernai – it is my most favorite little town there.
Dear friends, Victor Hugu named the Liebfrauenmünster zu Straßburg as a “gigantic and delicate marvel”. You photos of this marvel bringing Strasbourgh higher up the top of my travellist. Merci Juergen
Wonderful, your photos are excellent. This is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Europe. The image of the portal and of the windows are outstanding.
I wonder how many Notre Dame cathedrals there are in the world?
This one is somewhat reminiscent of the one in Paris. And your photos are superb…allowing us to see the grandeur and glory of the architecture…it's so incredibly beautiful!
So happy to see that you blog again, Cezar and Léia ! The come back…just like me. The angle of your first picture is excellent…that way all the monument enter in the frame. I regret I've never visited Strasbourg. Certainly fabulous ! Amitiés
LÉIA, you bring back wonderful memories for me. I used to visit Strasbourg with my sister when I visited them. We lit a candle in the cathedral for our mother. These are beautiful, beautiful photos my friend.
A bientôt
Did you manage to see the clock? When I went, there were too many people :-(.
