  1. When I read “Grund, Clausen and Pfaffenthal,” I thought it read like a fairy tale. And your photos portray a fairy tale city with an aura of mystery and delight.

I hope your French classes go well…that's what I need, “intensive” French…and you never need to apologize for anything!

    Have a wonderful day!

  4. Bonne chance avec les cours de francais!
Nice shots, strange names, very catholic… Clausen is old german for convent, and Pfaffenthal literally means valley of the papists, Pfaffen, with is not a very nice way of calling catholics.

Good luck with your French classes! Pretty soon, I will be seeing your comments on the France CDPs in French, I think. 🙂

  6. so much beauty. Your shots of the city at different levels and the amazing bridge are wonderful esp. in B&W and I like the perspective in the 3rd – it really gives us the sense of the city.
I hope you are enjoying your French class. I find that concentrated effort like that is a really rewarding experience but very tiring too. Get lots of rest this weekend.
