Hof Church – Lucerne – Switzerland


Main cathedral of the city, a Benedictine monastery
was founded here in the 8th century.

In 1633, a fire destroyed the church; it was rebuilt in 1645.
It is the most important Renaissance church in Switzerland.

  1. A wonderful church, so ancient and so well kept. The inside is absolutely gorgeous: the altar, the baptismal font, the painting and the huge organ.
