Wasserbillig – Luxembourg

This small town, situated at the lowest point
in Luxembourg, lies at the confluence of the
Sûre and the Moselle , and it’s an important
economic and commercial centre on the border
between Luxembourg and Germany.

  1. Difficult to imagine that this lovely small place is an important economic center!!
Don't worry about your french:it's quite good! I know that it is one of the most difficult languages to learn! When I was younger, I learned several foreign languages at the same time and I know how difficult it can be.But even nowaday, I still have a real passion for linguistic!

  2. The countryside is quite beautiful! It's hard to imagine this could be an important centre of commerce until you understand it's location. The river in the foreground appears to be at a higher elevation than much of the town – yikes!

  6. Got to enlarge this photo! You did a great job showing off this gorgeous town and its surroundings! Wasserbillig is a place to visit, I would guess; and you'll probably be showing us more of it in the future, right?

    It is truly beautiful!

  7. Just lovely! If the roofs were red I would say this could be a portuguese village in the north.
