  1. Things that interest me, the most, in this post is the illuminated manuscript and those ancient floor boards in the view of the portico. How old do you think they are?

I am not up to normal yet. Going back to doctor tomorrow and then to heart doctor too. Will be a long day.

  4. I like the way you guide us in that marvellous place, through doors after doors, room after room..A lot of benches! The old floors, the old furniture, are all wonderful! And I also like the old book! I'm imagining the person who wrote it during a long time, through ages.. A great post!!

  5. I think you've been up to some “monk-ee” business here! 😉

A wonderful series of photos detailing this ancient religious structure…I'll bet it smelled of age and incense!

But what a depressing place…all dark and dingy with smoking candles cluttering up the air as coughing monks sit on hard benches scribbling out old religious texts.

And the worst of all – no women! Well, none that can be spoken of!

Nice to have you guys back! I'll bet you had a great weekend. Thanks for all your delightful comments…re the “leafy” tree…they are different trees, but all the same kind and all pruned in exactly the same way.
