  2. This middle age castel is absolutely fabulous!I love this kind of architecture, coming to us through ages..And your freflections are very well done: we 're looking at three beautyful frames, like paintings offered to us! Great shot, dear Leia!

  3. These images have my heart beating with excitement. What a beautiful setting. And your reflection shot is so clever. It was like foreshadowing…and then you turn around and show us the real thing. Wonderful!

  4. Your photos are breathtaking! Your “reflections” are so very creative. Makes me want to jump on a plane to go where you go and see what you see!

Fantastic post. I also like your photos in the sidebar. A handsome couple indeed!

Leia – re your comment about the “walk.” It's called the Overseas Highway (US 1) and it goes all the way from Key West (the southernmost point in the U.S. to the state of Maine. We've driven it many times from Miami to Key West. It's a beautiful drive. We've gone swimming along the highway and snorkeling. One island has Key Deer, which are smaller that regular deer. We've stopped at the Blue Hole which once held a huge old alligator which we fed popcorn (we were new to Florida then and didn't know any better!).

At one point you cross the Seven-Mile Bridge which is lots of fun. They hold a Seven-Mile Bridge run there every year. Lois ran it once some years back.

And at the end is Key West, which is a world unto itself.

    You would love it!

  5. What a clever rendition of Weekend Reflections!
And thank you for the reminder about Lichtenstein. It is so small we tend to forget about it. Neat castle!

  7. What amazing mirrors! And, what amazing reflections they capture, too. They double the size of that tiny country. I visited there so many years ago and what beautiful memories I have.

  12. I remember as we drove from Italy to Germany through Switzerland I saw highway signs pointing to Lichtenstein. Wish we would have had time to visit. From your photos it looks like a really lovely place. Nice job.

  13. Is there a highway that leads up to the castle? So interesting to see it on a ridge surrounded by green without any other manmade structures nearby

(I was expecting to see the two of you in the reflection)

  14. The first photo is really interesting; at first I thought the mirrors were signs or posters mounted for an outdoor art show! Lovely series!

    Thanks for the visit!

  15. Ah, Liechtenstein! I've written to a penpal there for over 20 years! I've visited her there several times and she's visited me here several times. Now we both have families. Liechtenstein is a wonderful place – I wish someone would start a Liechtenstein Daily Photo blog!
    Bon weekend
