  2. Lots of benches! It's a beautiful old town. Probably not very big in terms of physical size, either. And I'll bet that with only 4,000 plus residents, most everyone knows everyone else! 🙂

  4. «Louis» is happy to read that it has been nicely restored after the destruction it suffered in WWII. With our distance from that war, it is hard for us to imagine how horrible it was. Antony Beevor's “Berlin – The Downfall, 1945” paints an accurate portrait of what the cities and citizens suffered in WWII. He writes his history from the point of view of the citizen and the infantryman, not from the point of view of the leaders, politicians and generals.

  5. It's a shame that so many wonderful places were destroyed in WW2 but i looks like they did a great job of rebuilding this place.
