  8. I remember the first time I saw the replicas of Columbus' ships, I was struck by how small they were. The same with this Viking ship. One cannot help wonder how the Vikings survived sailing the high seas in such a vessel.

  9. You and I have followed the same path. I also went to this Viking Ship Museum 20 years ago when my sister lived in Norway. My son and I stood on the same little balcony looking down on the ship as shown in your third photo. Outstanding photographss that brought back a lot of great memories. Thank you my friend.

  10. Gosh, they look kind of small for a culture that wreaked so much terror and havoc among their neighbors. The details on the ships prow are also beautiful. I would never have thought that of them. Absolutely fascinating.

  11. AMAZING, eu que me considero um MARINHEIRO SEM BARCO E LONGE DO MAR fiquei comovido só de ver, impressionante design, estilo… SHOW e com certeza gostaria de ver, tocar e dar uma volta ali na praia de MATINHOS com um “pedalinho” desses… ;-P
