  3. I could wander for hours through the narrow, crooked streets in the old towns of Europe. Thanks for sharing! Cheers!

  4. Oh my ! the last time I was in Trier I was 11 years old, hahaha ! My parents had friends who lived there.
BTW I didn't use a bike in Brussels, I haven't been on a bike since at least 25 years, and honnestly I didn't dare !

  5. Parece ser um lugar muito tranquilo e bonito.Gostei, pois transmite paz.

Obrigado pelos comentários nos meus blogs. Realmente, me sinto privilegiado em morar no Rio de Janeiro. Mesmo com todos os problemas sociais e de violência, ainda é um ótimo lugar para viver.
    Um abraço.

  6. I'm surprised to see a rather severe and modern gate in the first photo. I thought most of the gates that remain in older European cities and towns were stone and had lots of angles to slow the invaders as they attempted entry. Thanks for educating us.

  7. Love the simplicity and clarity of your photos. The town looks so serene, like you could have it all to yourself for a stroll.

  8. This was a surprise. I never knew about the first gate. ;-)) I'll shut up now as I know my ignorance is showing.

It is so nice to look at your lovely photos!
