  2. Kassel looks like a beautiful place. I like the way the second shot looks like a garden surrounded by forest. All wonderful shots of an enchanting place.

  4. All these shots are wonderful, but I especially like the first two. Then, of course, I live how the golden lion pops against the blue doors. Great shot!

  5. As fotos são todas óptimas mas essa – nem sei como lhe chamar – escadaria (2ª. foto) prendeu completamente a minha atenção! Fantástico!

  6. You always have such lovely pictures of Germany, and knowing I will never get to visit Germany, I love my little mini vacation each week when I visit on ABC Wednesday. Thanks for sharing all the lovely places in Germany.

  9. How wonderful to see these. My husband's family came from this region near the beginning of the 20th century. It's so beautiful. It must have been hard for them to leave.

  10. I don't know where to begin! Each of these photos is special in its own way. You have given us a fine perspective on this town. It's funny, but photography in the rain can be delightful … for one thing, rain tends to freshen things up, but also you don't have the harsh contrast with which to deal.

    A beautiful post, as usual!

  11. This park in the 2 first shots looks fabulous! Have to go to Kassel one day, I've only ever passed through it by train, on the way to Goettingen.
