  1. Beautiful photos, Cezar and Leia. It's wonderful that you have seen so much of Europe, and I appreciate you sharing them with us!

  2. Some places where I have been! Do I see well: the fountain is made like a tree and branches give water?! that's so weird and pretty!I saw the Shroud of Turin: wether you believe or not, it's very impressive!

  6. Beautiful architecture indeed! I had no idea Carla Bruni was born there, well, actually I never asked her… 🙂

  7. Torino is one of the less known and most misunderstood cities in Italy. Thanks for reminding us of its beauty!

  8. The architecture is simply stunning ans do like the effects you've done higlighting the colours of the flags against the buildings.

  9. You post the best photos of places I for one would love to visit. The Shroud of Turin is a fascinating phenomenon – I had no idea Turin was the birthplace of Italian cinema – so thank you!

  11. Very interesting about Turin. I never made it West of Milano. I loved how you did the B&W with the flags remaining in color. Nice work!

  12. Great review in photos and summary of Turin. For three interesting facts you really nailed it with diversity. What do Carla Bruni, the Shroud of Turin and the Italian Cinema all have in common? Why, Turin, of course!

Very nice display of Turin, mes amis!

  13. Wonderful… like most Italian cities, villages… with a lot of history!

.. and today of course the home of Fiat, Juventus…

  14. More wonderful photos of an intriguing city! Merci! And thanks for the historical information…I did not know Carla Bruni hailed from Turin. I've heard a lot of the so-called Shroud of Turin, of course.

I'm glad to hear that you've been careful about getting out in the snow at night. It's true, you need to go to classes, but no sense in taking chances. Must be quite a distance from where you live. The hot cocoa when you get home sounds like a winner!

Hope you're having a wonderful day and it's not too cold there. We're looking at a couple of nights of unusually cool weather – down to 32 degrees F – ugh. I really don't like that much but it will climb back into the 60s during the day, so that's good.

  19. Hi Leia! I feel very special…you must have been up all night commenting on our blogs! Thank you very much! And you always know just the right thing to say! Anyway, you and Cezar are greatly appreciated by the two of us!

Hope you have a wonderful day and that the snow doesn't get too deep and you can make it to class and home safely …

It was very cold here last night (for us) – 30 degrees F. Should be about 60 today, though. So, golf is in the plans.

    Our best to you!
