  2. It is truly picturesque! And your pictures are picturesque. Very beautiful town with wonderful buildings and a canal, even. Does look chilly, though. And you must have the only people out and about…it looks almost deserted!

Hope you're having a wonderful day! And yes, I think you would love Versailles! It's your kind of place!

  3. Will this Winter ever end??? Very pretty! Lots of interesting architectural details, like the metal raining around the balcony.

  6. Thank you for the visit – surprising to see that chilly winter light now that so many posts are of spring. We might think light-is-light, but there are so many shades of it, mm?

  7. What a pretty little town it is, even in a wintry mood.
Your photos are lovely, as always.
Did I tell you (I don't think I did) we changed trains in Luxembourg, so my husband went outside to take photos of the station and the immediate area? I'll be posting them sometime, but it's a long time before the letter “L” comes up again. Maybe “S” for “stations”!
I thought of both of you while we were there, and Luna, too.

  10. Looks like a great little place!

    About the truck from yesterday:

Perhaps I forgot to mention that this truck isn't exactly stock. It's been modified and worked on more than a little bit. My buddy has built this one to be a pulling truck.

The black smoke is actually unburned fuel. The black smoke disappears as the turbo spools up to force more air into the cylinders, which results in more complete combustion.

It all depends on what some people call normal. Some people prefer not to see any black smoke at all, which others (like my friend) prefer to watch the smoke roll.

  13. It looks marvelous, even if it was cold when you visited. In particular, I liked the figures at the fountain.

  14. all the windows are so uniform, may be the contractor and the architect had something going, so it is cheaper to have the same windows.
