Merl Park – Luxembourg

  1. I like the little ramp for the turtles and they seem to be enjoying it, catching some rays. I can imagine spending a quiet day, relaxing there.

  2. Luxembourg has to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I was pleased to see a pavilion – we have those, too, in some of our parks. And all the water. Water makes a park so nice. The ramp for turtles is very nice. Going to have to visit there some day, I think!

Today is Lois Anne's birthday. We're going to go to Gainesville (where the Univ. of Florida is located) for dinner later.

Hope you're having a great day and thank you both for so many wonderful comments! You sure know how to make an old, tired photographer feel good!

I wanted to also tell you how much I like your new header…it's just ducky (which is an American phrase meaning it's “great”!)

  3. I was thinking “What a beautiful park, such a serene place for a walk” and then I recognized the turtle ramp from Luna's blog, and laughed. I agree with Jacob's comment, water makes a park perfect.

  4. Oh, yes! Perfect shots of spring! I'd be looking for a bench in the sun, too! Delightful captures, Leia, as always! Enjoy your day/evening!!

  5. Your city has amazing parks and the shades of green are stunning… Like Woody, I like the ramp for the turtles and would love to sit and watch them slowly lumber up and down into the water!

  6. Très beaux clichés d'un endroit plus qu'agréable pour passer l'après-midi au calme en profitant du soleil et de la fraîcheur de l'eau;o)

  7. What a gorgeous park! I would love to spend time there. I see your turtles like to lay in the sun and warm themselves too.
I love the new header photo, but you have so many fantastic pictures to choose from…how can you go wrong? 🙂
