The National Day of Luxembourg 2011

Since 1961 the National Day of Luxembourg is celebrated
every year on June 23rd
marking the official birthday of the Grand Duke.

We also would like to share one video from “The Film Project”

  1. Oh, enjoy yourselves and do as much as you can. Of course, you should be taking pictures all the while too. 🙂

  2. Somehow I missed this celebration when I read through the Luxembourg material. I better go back and re-read what I read before when I read it!

Sounds like great fun for all involved and we will expect some of your usual artistic photography to show the rest of us what it was really like to be there in person!

  4. Super le petit film (mais la jeune blonde à poil sur le canapé rouge risque de choquer certains…) Have a great day, enjoy the celebrations!

  6. In Belgium it is the 21st of July with more or less the same program. There is the whole royal family sitting on a tribune and watching the défilé. It's always a very cheerful atmosphere. Probably the same in Luxembourg.

Today is our last day, tomorrow home into hopefully better weather !

  7. Enjoy the celebrations! I like the collage of photos you prepared for the occasion. I enjoyed the promotion video…when we meet for coffee (sometime we will!), I'd like to hear your impressions. The Grand Duke is handsome, has a nice head of hair.
