  1. I used to live in Florence (Massachusetts)and it was nothing like the REAL Florence!
What a fabulous bridge and the reflections are wonderful.
Sorry I've not been around much lately.

  3. This is probably one of the top ten photographed bridges in the world, and still I don't tire seeing it (or the other nine!)… Fina captures of the Ponte Vecchio all, and the third is my favorite today… I like the point of view and refection. 🙂

  5. Fantastic captures, Leia! I do love the Ponte Vecchio! And the reflections on the water is so beautiful! Easy to see why it is so popular with photographers! Hope you and Cezar are enjoying a lovely weekend, mon amie!

  6. Do I spot two people I have seen before ? 🙂 Ah… c'est probablement l'un des deux ou trois plus beaux ponts du monde, même sous la pluie !

  7. Very intriguing bridge -glad you took a few pics of it. And I wished I had known the future and traveled further than Venice (we came in from Yugoslavia)!

  8. I need to get out more, I've never heard of this bridge before =^_^=

I'm not so sure I'd want to build additions on a bridge, but it's neat looking!

  9. Florence is among my favorite cities and, of course, Ponte Vecchio is a “must see” part of the city. The still reflection in your third photo is special.

  11. Beautiful things don't suffer from being photographed too often, fortunately. (Except antiquities, with flash cameras.)
    Your photos are an inspiration!

  12. It is a very unique bridge. 500 years ago, all big bridges were like this, in big cities like Paris, Rome… Now there are only a few left. I can think of 2 only, the Ponte Vecchio and the Rialto Bridge in Venice.
