This is certainly a contrast from yesterday's church. I think I like the old better, but that building is really shiny! Have a nice weekend, dear friends! 🙂
Love the glint of light and angle on the first shot. And seeing all that wet pavement gives me hope that maybe someday soon, we'll get rain too. Happy Friday!
I do love your composition with the wet pavement. It is a very “United States” looking building that is named for Kennedy. I, too, prefer the older buildings and find them much more interesting than our “shiny towers” that are everywhere here in the states. And I love the history of the old buildings/architecture! Hope you and Cezar have a lovely weekend, Leia!
These American style buildings look almost out of place against a backdrop of the gorgeous buildings of your city. Still, the photos are superb. Love the rainy glossy look to the walking area in the last shot. genie
Very american looking!
i wish you a nice week-end , dear Leia!

I don't remember such glass boxes in Luxembourg ! I hoped they were only here to spoil the landscape !

This does look very 'American' especially when compared to the gorgeous old buildings from your lovely country.

Gold and silver: feels too modern for Europe, no?

Interesting. That building looks a lot like the federal building in Boston, called the John F. Kennedy Federal Building.

Great looking buildings and I love the reflections! Interesting that they named the Avenue after an American president.
