The Cathedral and the National Library of Luxembourg

The Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Luxembourg,
located in the heart of the Grand Duchy’s capital,
dominates the city center.

The National Library is located in a former Jesuit College,
 founded in 1603.
The library is situated next to the Notre Dame Cathedral.

  1. The right-most spire is really interesting. Wouldn't you love to look over the city from one of these??!!

    Please say hello to Cezar!

  2. Those narrow spires are what catch my eye. Can you imagine how difficult it must have been to fabricate them without the room for much internal bracing?

  3. Such gorgeous buildings and I, too, love those beautiful spires! Wonderful colors and lovely skies all make for such delightful captures, Leia! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

  4. I'm running out of superlatives to describe the beautiful buildings you shows us … this is rather cool, too. You can read and then go pray, all in the same day. If you read the newspapers, you'll need to go pray! 🙂

Cezar, you are a very funny man. Thanks for your humorous comments…
