  1. Oiii…. Aachen.!
I've been there many times, my doughter was living there many years before she moved to Switzerland. I remember those several metal sculptures, and I was in love with them. Aachen is real beautifull place with old town… and so on. I'm waiting your other photos from there.

  2. Yes, a beautiful city, one of the world's most historic places and you give us the right feeling! (I guess your pictures may be from last year, unless there is a micro climate there!) Hugs! 🙂

  3. I LOVE the statues from the 2nd picture!i like when statues take part of the everyday life. And I like the bench on the 3rd one! :o)Is it an other Mannekenpis?!

  4. Aachen, the city of very impressive and expressive statuary! In your first photo, those girls look like they're from the 1920's, the “flapper” era. The figures in the 2nd shot appear to be welcoming others as if to ask, “Will you be my friend.”

I can't really tell but in the last shot it looks like the little boy is raining on the place!

    Fun and funky photos!

  5. Marvelous and delightful sculptures, Leia! And your captures are superb as always! I'd love to be able to stroll the streets of Aachen, but your photos are the next best thing! Thanks for sharing, dear Leia!
