  1. I've seen most of her works, but can't wait for the Lilicoptere to get to Lisbon. Shame The Bride was censored there. These are some fabulous shots, great work!

  2. First of all, welcome back. You'll have to tell me all about your trip to the city of Big Ben, etc.

These photos are stunning. The exhibition is stunning. We were in many of those rooms, but saw nothing like this, of course. Love those lions…they remind me more of house cats made up of all that lacy stuff!

And you'd have to a very large woman to walk in those shoes.

    There's so much here…mind-boggling!

  3. Really nice to see how these modern works fit into the Versailles environment. Plan to go there during September.
Hugs – even though that you forgot me once more while in Paris! 🙂

  5. Looks like you had an interesting trip! It's nice to have you back. 🙂

I have never heard of this artist, but I am going to do some internet research. Some really interesting pieces here. I like the modern feel of them inside an old building like Versailles. 🙂

  7. Oh wow Leia, what an excellent collection of strange and wonderful sculptures. Looove the 'high heels', and yes, definitely not what I'd expect to see in the Palace..but then again….!

Such a magnificent exhibit! I can honestly say I've never seen anything quite like it. Even without the displays, the building is enough to enjoy!

  11. Welcome back you two. I've certainly missed you and your great photos. And what great photos today. Such colourful, but strange works of art. Some people certainly have a vidvid imagination.

  12. It is shocking to see the large modern art against the elegant backdrop of Versailles. Like VP, this is not my kind of art, but unlike VP, I like to have my artistic sensibilities challenged occasionally.

  13. So much ornateness … I think that I would experience sensory overload. It must take a long time to go through the exhibit…there's so much to see. Love the shoes!

  15. Quite larges pieces! I still have to adjust with such an exhibit in such a place but I would have to go and see it to make an opinion about it.

  16. Two weeks ago my son and girlfriend spent a week in Paris and went to Versailles for one day. They took the same pics, except the balcony one in your next post, but they didn't photograph the modern art works. Very interesting:)
