Irkutsk, Siberia – Russia

Trans-Siberian railway stop

*our trip in 2006
What we will never forget of Irkutsk?
The Siberian traditional architecture,
the magnificent Lake Baikal,
the friendly smiling native people and
the jet lag!  🙂

  1. Great captures and another wonderful looking trip, Leia!! Thank you, as always, for sharing your journeys with us! Have a lovely weekend!

  2. I did not know that you had made THIS travel!! I dream, dream , dream to take this train and to cross Siberia!
Oh, one day I hope you'll tell me more about that trip, you're the only one I know that made it! How fabulous!

  3. You do get around! 🙂 And your photos picture Russia just as I had pictured it in my mind. What a fun trip that must have been! Crazy, but my favorite shot here is of the trains and the Trans-Siberian railway stop…I like the effect (and now I know what it is) … looks like you've scanned an old slide from the 1950s or 1960s.

  4. The trip was certainly wonderful. I hope that the jetlag is not effort anymore .. 🙂
    The place look beautiful.
