Stratford… Shakespeare in Canada.

Hello guys! Today’s highlight is the lovely town of Stratford in Ontario. According to Wikipedia,  Stratford is the seat of Perth County which was settled by English, Irish, Scottish and German immigrants, in almost equal numbers, starting in the 1820s but primarily in the 1830s and 1840s. Most became farmers and even today the area around Stratford is known for mixed farming, dairying and hog production.  Stratford is really adorable! Famous for the Stratford Festival, it inspires you with culture and art. Many of the greatest Canadian, British and American actors play roles at the Stratford Festival. It was one of the first and is still one of the most prominent arts festivals in Canada and is recognized worldwide for its productions of Shakespearean plays. Hope you enjoy the pictures. See you soon!
