At the time we went, there was also a temporary exhibit about the famous Brazilian race driver Ayrton Senna and his career.

The Municipal Library, the Archiginnasio is one of the most important buildings in the city. The internal courtyard of the 16th century, is splendid. Historical seat of the University of Bologna – Europe’s oldest, founded in 1088.
